Royal Ascot Chauffeur Service
15 to 19 June 2027. Ascot Racecourse, Berkshire.
Ascot publishes these dates and marks them provisional and subject to change in three separate places on its own site. Treat them as the organiser’s current intention rather than a fixture.
Royal Ascot is provisionally set for 15 to 19 June 2027, five days from Tuesday to Saturday. It is the rare event where where you are sitting changes how you arrive: the racecourse sends taxis to different car parks depending on which enclosure your badge is for. It also changes what you wear, what you may carry in, and which parts of the course you can reach. A car booked for Royal Ascot is really a car booked for one enclosure on one day.

| Thursday 17 to Saturday 19 June | Village Enclosure operates, with live music until 9pm |
Enclosure availability as published by Ascot. It matters for transport because a day that runs to 9pm is a different collection time from one that ends after the last race.

What a Chauffeur Changes About This Week
The detail that catches people out at Royal Ascot is that your badge decides your drop off point. The racecourse directs Royal Enclosure guests to Car Park 1 or Car Park 3 and everybody else to Car Park 3 or Car Park 6, so a driver who does not know which enclosure you are in cannot know where to set you down. Tell us the enclosure when you book and it is handled. Ascot also runs a dedicated VIP entrance for Royal Enclosure Members, operated by the racecourse’s own official chauffeur partner and limited to drop offs between 10:30 and 13:30, so that specific entrance is not one any operator can use. Departures are the other half. Singing around the Bandstand happens after the last race, which means the crowd leaves in one wave rather than gradually.
Planning Your Arrival
Tell us your enclosure and your day, because both change the answer. We will set you down at the car park the racecourse designates for your badge. If you want a car parked on site rather than waiting off it, that has to be bought in advance and the deadline falls about a week before your raceday. The local road system changes during the week as well: the Royal Borough and Thames Valley Police put a one way system and a 20mph limit on the High Street, and the timings are reviewed each year, so we plan the approach against the plan published for that year rather than a previous one.
Frequently Asked Questions
When is Royal Ascot 2027?
Ascot has published Tuesday 15 to Saturday 19 June 2027, and marks those dates provisional and subject to change in three places on its own site. They are the organiser’s dates, but the organiser has not committed to them, so check before booking anything unmovable around them.
Where does a car drop off at Royal Ascot?
It depends on your enclosure. The racecourse directs Royal Enclosure guests to Car Park 1 or Car Park 3, and every other enclosure to Car Park 3 or Car Park 6. There is also a VIP entrance reserved for Royal Enclosure Members through the racecourse’s official chauffeur partner, with drop offs only between 10:30 and 13:30.
Which days does the Village Enclosure open?
Thursday, Friday and Saturday only. Gazebo guests attending on the Tuesday or Wednesday are given Queen Anne Enclosure access instead. The Village Enclosure runs live music until 9pm, so a Thursday to Saturday booking often needs a later collection than the racing alone suggests.
Should I book a car or park at Royal Ascot?
Parking has to be bought in advance at £45, with the deadline about a week before your raceday, and prices rise on the day. Being driven removes the deadline and the walk, and it means nobody in your party is counting drinks against the drive home.
